Are duty and taxes included in my quote?
Our quotes are priced FOB factory. Some of our clients prefer to handle their own shipments so we separate the product and shipping cost. We will estimate the charges for freight, duty and insurance for each shipment and will provide these services at cost plus 5%. We provide door delivery, if requested, to your location or to any location you specify.
Who determines which factory will be used?
Each product or component is unique and we use our manufacturing knowledge plus your specific requirements to determine which factory is best suited to manufacture your product. We select the most qualified source to ensure that all of your requirements are met. Most manufacturing is located in China or Taiwan, and each country has its own unique advantages we will consider when deciding where to manufacture your product.
Do vou have a minimum order quantity?
We have no minimum order quantities but our factories often do not quote items with low volume because of the time and investment involved in taking on new projects. Our production quantities range from hundreds of items to hundreds of thousands of items depending on what you would like manufactured. We will do our best to meet your needs. Most of our clients are small businesses and entrepreneurs who want to start with smaller test orders. Smaller production runs may be accepted if the product requires assembly, packaging, and other labor intensive and value-added functions. More value-added operations translate into more cost savings.
We will give you an estimate of the time required to fill your order or get estimates for your product. Your initial estimate should take less than two weeks depending on the complexity of the product. Once you decide on manufacturing, smaller orders can usually be filled and shipped within one or two months while larger orders will vary depending on the production run.
Do I have to provide an LC at site?
For new customers and large orders, we may require a letter of credit. After a relationship has been developed, we will review the terms and we may at our discretion extend other terms.
How long has your company been in business?
Source Plus, Inc has been manufacturing in Taiwan since 1998 and China since 1999.
We produce a wide variety of products and provide a number of services. We specialize in consumer items but have the capability to produce much more than we can list on our web site.
